Abstract
The effect of picamilon
cure in
patients with chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency (CCVI) of atherosclerosie genesis, with vegetative vascular dystonia (VVD) and with hemicrania (all
together 107 patients) has been studied. Estimation of picamilon
action on inices of cerebral blood circulation by the echopulsegraphic method (Echo PG) and ultrasonic dopplerography (USDG) in comparison with other nootropic and
vasoactive drugs has been carried out. Picamilon
influence on lipid metabolism, reological properties of blood and coagulation has been defined.
It was found that picamilon
produced the therapeutical effect on cephalalgia of vascular with the exception of the associated form of hemicrania.
The drug posesses the vasoactive effect especially in patients with CCVI, causing improving of blood flow to cephalic veins, decreasing of cerebrovascular resistance and increasing of the volume of pulse fluctuations together with tranquillizing and nootropic effects.
Picamilon normalizes the hemostatic system practically without influencing the blood viscosity and decreases the content of atherogenous
b-lipoproteins increasing insignificantly at the same time the content of cholesterin and -cholesterin in
blood serum.
